Tips for Traveling with Baby

Traveling to the grocery store and back can have its new challenges once you have a baby. Here are some tips to help make any traveling that you do with you baby go smoother.

* Always keep your diaper bag packed so if you need to rush out the door you won't forget anything essential.

* It can help to keep a simple tote bag filled with some handy items (receiving blankets, change of clothes for baby, etc.) for traveling with your baby, that you keep in your car.

* A change of shirt for mommy is always a good idea to keep handy, you can tuck it into the diaper bag or store it in the car.

* Keep a bottle of water in your car for any sticky messes that might arise while on the road.

* Make sure you have either a toy that your child really likes or a toy that they have not seen for a while when you go on the road.

* If you have to fly with your baby it is a good idea to keeps things handy as possible. Keep a diaper in your coat pocket.

* A sling or baby carrier can be extremely helpful if you traveling because your hands will be free to put your carry-on away and such.

* It is a good idea to breastfeed your baby during take off and landing to help with any pressure on their ears.

* When you are budgeting time to go somewhere give yourself at least a half of a hour then you usually would. This will budget in the time to feed the baby and change their diaper.

* As ridiculous as it sounds if there is something that your baby simply can't live with out, take it with you. As a baby it can extremely hard adjusting to this world so it is a good idea to help them with this transition as much as possible.
