Tips for
Baby-Proofing Your Home
When your
baby is first born you will find yourself not really setting them
down. However before you know they will become very curious about
the many things around the house. Then once they become mobile you
will discover that their curiosity is there more than ever. Here
are some tips on baby-proofing your house.
*
It is best to be safe than sorry, so place a plug cover in any and
every electric outlet in the house.
*
Put your baby in their bouncer or swing and place them in the bathroom
when you take a shower.
*
If at all possible have them take naps in the room where you are
going to be.
*
Make sure you have everything you are going to need before you give
your baby a bath so you don't have to walk away.
*
When you change them on a changing table or on the bed make sure
that you have everything that you are going to need so you won't
have to away.
*
If they are napping in the family bed while mommy and daddy are
awake have a pillow on either side of them at waist level.
*
Once your baby is in a walker keep in mind they very easily can
walk backwards, and they often do completely by accident.
