Tips for Baby's
Playtime
Once your
baby is old enough that they become interested in toys you will
likely begin playtime. Before you know it your baby will have tons
and tons of toys and so it helps if you have a game plan on how
to stay organized.
*
Babies are more interested in playing with mommy and daddy than
they are with playing with toys, so there is no need to make sure
you have a lot of toys before they are born.
*
Have some form of toy storage for all of your baby's toys. Basket
and Bins work very well and allow you to seperate certain toys as
well.
*
If you have a designated play area the clean up process at the end
of the day will be a lot easier.
*
When your baby is playing it is a good idea to encourage all sorts
of postions. Both tummy time and time on their back will help streghten
their muscles.
*
If your baby plays on a gym or playground consider putting it away
when it is not in use if you have pets.
*
It is a good idea to wash all of your baby's toys once before you
give them to your baby. It doesn't hurt to wash them off from time
to time.
*
If your baby plays with links and has a walker or jumper you can
attach rattles and other toys to the links so if you baby drops
them the links will keep them from hitting the floor.
*
When your baby is still learning to sit up on their own a bobby
pillow can be a good item to help them from following over while
they play.
