A word of encouragement
for any pregnant ladies that are feeling a little uneasy about their
changing body.
There is no telling what
your belly is going to do while it grows to support your baby for
9 months. Women often worry about stretch marks as they get further
and further along in their pregnancy. There is no way of knowing
if you will or won't get stretch marks, but that's not what's important.
You should be proud that
you are pregnant. Nature offers a distinct feature to let the world
know that you have a baby growing inside of you. At times a mom
may feel self-conscious as they carry this extra load, but it is
said time and time again that a pregnant lady has a glow about her
and it is true.
As your body
changes you may feel sad at times. Part of this is hormones and
the rest is the fact that you are changing. It is hard to change,
especially if you were happy with your body. Remember though it
may be changing but not permanently. The great thing though, you
are having a baby. You are getting the greatest gift ever. Plus
you may be surprised to find out, although you are gaining a lot
of weight, a lot of that weight gain isn't you.
It is true
that women gain a lot of weight during their pregnancy but you should
find comfort in these figures below.

1.5 Pounds: The Placenta
2 Pounds: Amniotic Fluid
2 Pounds: Uterus
2 Pounds: Breast
4 Pounds: Extra Body Fluid
4 Pounds: Extra Blood
7 Pounds: Extra Stored Nutrients, Protein, and Fats
7 Pounds: Average Baby |

You will lose these 30
pounds after the baby is born. The uterus is continuously shrinking
once the baby is out and you will notice a huge difference within
6 months.
You can always try to be
humorous about the situation. A lot of women do Belly
Art ,
get a Pregnancy
Belly Cast Kit
or stand in front of a wall outlining their belly to see how it
looks at the different months of their pregnancy. 9 month isn't
forever and the payoff is well worth any morning sickness you have
and stretch marks you get.
