Special Note: As a vegetarian I have not included meat. Your pregnancy book, childbirth educator or OB/GYN can inform you of what meat products are good to eat.

You can easily read how many servings of each food group you should eat during your pregnancy or ask your childbirth educator or OB/GYN.

Don't forget that after the baby is born it is still equally important for a mom to eat healthy. Between keeping her strengh up and having plenty of nutritous breast milk a mom will want to not only continue taking her prenatal vitamins but also will want to keep up her heathy diet. Ordering groceries from home can be great because you won't have to take you baby into a crowded grocery store.
