Baby Needs - Wash Cloths and/or Wipes (Absolutely
you will want to have some wash cloths for wiping your baby's
bottom, always having wipe on hand is more expensive but an
absolute need for your baby if will not be using wash cloths.)
•
Baby Needs - Diaper Pail (Most
likely you'll need to use a diaper pail to house
your dirty cloth diapers, unless you plan to use just a wet
bag.)
•
Baby Needs - Diaper Pail Liner and/or Wet Bag (Most
likely a pail liner for your diaper pail will be
necessary unless you plan to wash your diaper pail every time
that you wash diapers. A wet bag for time away from home is
a nice diapering item and sometimes people find that they
prefer using them to house their dirty diapers over a diaper
pail.)
•
Baby Needs - Diaper Pins and/or Diaper Fasteners (Possibly
if you use prefolds and flatfold diapers you will want to
use diaper pins or a diaper fastener.)
•
Baby Needs - Baby Powder (Possibly
baby powder will be something that you use to help prevent
diaper rash, if so make sure that it is pure cornstarch.)
•
Baby Needs - Diaper Stacker (Possibly
when you have limited room to wear you can house all of your
diapers you may want to get a diaper stacker to hang on your
changing table, the back of a chair or door.)

What
to Remember When Choosing Diapering Accessories
There are
many diaper changing accessories that can help you with all of the
diaper changing that you need to do with your baby.
There are
three reasons that wash cloths are a good diapering accessory to
get. One, you can use them at a diaper change to clean up your baby's
bottom, two they are good at bath time to clean up your baby and
three unlike wipes you only have to buy them once. It is a good
idea to get about 3 dozen wash cloths. They are great because you
can get them nice and warm which feels a lot better than an ice
cold wipe. Get some with prints and the rest with a solid color.
That way you can use the solids for diapering and the prints for
bathing.
By getting
a pail liner for your diaper pail you will not have to keep buying
trash bags for it, and not have to clean it as often. A wet bag
can be a good choice if you don't want to use a diaper pail and
want to have something to take out of the house for any diapers
that your baby needs to be changed.
When you use
flatfolds and prefolds and pull up covers you will find diaper pins
and diaper fasteners very handy, Snappis will be a lot easier to
use than diaper pins. Diaper stackers are a great space saving item
to hold your diapers.
While there
are many diapering accessories you do not absolutely need all of
them and depending on what you want and need for your diapering
choices will determine what you will want to get.
